Rooms for Winter

Nine precise stories of solitude, hospitality, and unexpected kinship.

From an empty hotel on an island to a crowded apartment above a bakery, these stories find warmth in the temporary rooms where strangers meet.

From the book

“Every room has a winter version of itself: quieter, closer, waiting for the first knock at the door.”
